Mason, Texas is just about 30 miles from Llano so we had to stop by and show Mason where he got his name. We drove by Pa's old church, went around the town square, and out to Fort Mason, then stopped in town for dinner. Mason liked that he saw his name EVERYWHERE, but we only stopped to take pictures at a few places. The last picture didn't come out so well, but you can see a lot of Mason, Texas in the background, taken from Fort Mason. The Chamber had some neat tshirts in the window and so we ordered one so hopefully it'll be in the mailbox soon.
