Well, we were right - we really did LOVE Miss Tourk (who's now Mrs. DeLeon)! She was an amazing teacher for Mason and always seemed to know just what he needed (or didn't!). She went above and beyond her duties and even came to his birthday party that summer. This year, Hensley nominated her for one of the Superintendent Awards - to which she won! His letter even brought tears to my eyes! I love that I can text her on mornings when Mason needs a little extra hug and she'll have it waiting for him when he gets to school. She's going to be such an amazing mom this summer!
